hahs. have to update before my blog turns into an ancient relic.
yayness. it's d march holidays. at last.
weekend was spent at the smu and nus open houses. hahs. like old friends gathering like that. so many year2s went for the open houses kept seeing primary,secondary and jc friends.hmms. saw choir seniors too :)
smu open house with rong,weiwei and mel was quite fun. d students were really friendly and articulate though we almost fell asleep in the first talk. nus open house was hmms..i don't know how to say. i feel as if i was in another teejay except that it was much much much bigger. and yt was saying walking in d campus itself made her really dizzy cus of the up and down winding roads. d talk was even worse. we left halfway through the second one. the students kept asking us to write our names down for d clubs and societies such that we became intimidated. none of them at smu did that. in d end i had to write my no. down once cus this guy kept going on and on and on.
and the first day of holiday was spent at ntu for economics seminar. early in the morning was really kuku. daddy fetched me there cus i overslept. ntu is so damn far. and d campus was so huge that we can't find the theatre that i was supposed to go even after going rounds around the campus. d tutors told us to be there at 830 and it was already 850. hahs. finally we saw two acjc guys on this remote road that has no way in cus the part was under huge contruction. in desperation i asked them if they are going for the econs seminar and they ended up taking my dad's car. cus they were also lost but they had the ntu's map with them. im just such a nice girl. hehs.and the guys say their tutors told them it's 845.haas.so we found d place at last. and yiming was nice enough to wait for me at the carpark :)
it starts at 900. and we were right on time :) making friends like this is kinda of funny. and i saw them again at lunchtime though we went to a cafe far away from the theatre to find nicer foods. oh. haha. ntu has nice food :) the first part of seminar was quite interesting, but in the 2nd part, we became so restless, despite having buffet food after every hour. so ivan and i just kept snacking on sweets and his sour lemon thingie that made my lips all white. hahs.
and i bought a new camera from the IT fair. yayness.coolpix s1.manday saw it in the papers and we thought it was a good buy. manday and rand got the same one too :) and mab also went to get it after she saw my cam after d handmaid's screening. and rj too. hahas. it's just so pretty.
and my cousie's wedding rehearsal was kinda kuku. i rushed down after d handmaid's screening. d chijmes hall was all grand and pretty. now i feel that being a bridesmaid isn't all so fun anymore. the wedding planners were kinda strict.and it's reallly difficult to march formally, with grace and dainty-ness.and keeping d same distance with the persons in front, walking at the correct timing with d music, plus, all the time smiling. i really want my cousie's wedding to turn out really well. plus he's one of my closest cousie.oh. and my bridesmaid dress is really not that pretty. one stranger bride was at d shop when i went for my try and i was standing at the studio with her. her wedding gown was all so grand and glam that at d time i thought i really looked like her maid. no wonder they made d dress like that. hahs. but i know that bridemaids are not to outshine the brides anws. plus. it's not my wedding. d dress is really a straight cut dress with no shape such that at d tummy there d whole dress bloats up. and d shop ppl had to blame it on my body shape. they say cus my waist is small so it turns out like that. i was like huh. pls.think d sewing skill isn't very good seeing i had to go for 3 tries just to get my body measurements right.still, am really excited about d wedding :)
my room is induced with the sweet scent of roses.
